The owner behind every Kemsley project
Meet Mike Kemsley
Mike founded Kemsley Construction in 2021 as a family-owned company serving the Treasure Valley. Today, he’s still the one who walks your backyard with you, draws up the plans, manages every trade and stands on site to make sure it’s done right.
His favorite work happens outside. Patio covers, pergolas, decks, garages and additions: projects that give a family more room to live, gather and enjoy Idaho’s outdoors.

Why Mike loves building outdoors
“I just like working outside. There’s something special about taking a backyard nobody uses and turning it into the place where a family spends its best evenings: dinners under a patio cover, kids playing on a new deck, friends around the fire on a cool night.”
“Outdoor projects are easier on the family, too. Most of the work happens outside the house, so life inside carries on as normal while we build.”
“I still take on bathrooms and other indoor projects, and I enjoy them. But if you ask me what I love most, it’s always the same answer: transforming people’s outdoor spaces.”
