Built Safe, Built to Last

A deck has to be strong where you can’t see it: footings, posts, beams and connections sized for the load and set to frost depth.

Mike handles the plans and drawing approvals, so your deck is built to code and inspected, and you never have to deal with the paperwork.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a deck cost?

It depends on the size, materials, design and site conditions. After a quick visit to look at the space and talk through your goals, we’ll give you a clear, itemized estimate.

Should I choose wood or composite decking?

Wood has natural warmth and a lower upfront cost but needs regular sealing or staining. Composite costs more up front but won’t rot and needs very little upkeep, and it’s backed by a 50-year material warranty.

Can you replace my old deck?

Yes. We tear out the old deck, check what’s underneath, and build a safe new deck in its place, often with better stairs and a better layout.

How long will the project take?

It depends on the size of the project, permits and when materials arrive. Once the plan is set, we’ll give you a realistic schedule and keep you updated along the way.

Do you handle the permits?

Yes. When your project needs a permit, Mike prepares the plans and handles the city approvals before construction begins.
